Royal Canin Veterinary Dog – Gastrointestinal is especially formulated to help dogs with diarrhoea (both chronic and acute) or vomiting. The digestive tract in dogs is a very sensitive organ, just like in humans, and it is not uncommon for dogs to be affected by issues in their gut. 

To reduce the stress placed on the digestive tract, this dry kibble features a higher energy content. This increased energy density means that a smaller feeding size will deliver the necessary nutrition. To further ease the digestive system, this food has fermentable fibres like dried sugar beet pulp that also nourish the microflora. 

To promote a balanced and healthy intestinal system, there are also mannanoligosaccharides (MOS). These not only protect the gut against pathogenic bacteria, but may also boost its local immune system (IgA).
